Eric Clapton is at a seasoned plateau on "24 Nights!" Though his musical accomplishments afterward can only add to his resume', and to his fan's enjoyment, this is as refined as one defining collection of his musical genius can get. Katie Kassoon's backing vocals are a noteworthy triumph on "Wonderful Tonight." Pure Emotion! |

What can you say? This man is a genius. Listening to one of his albums/cds is like what Douglas Adams said about Dire Straits...an angel taking a Saturday night off. I hope he never stops recording. |

Watching this DVD is a treat. I Have NEVER enjoyed a concert video as much as I have this one. Every E.C. fan MUST own this! This is as good as it gets!!! |

Clapton is the best guitar player overall!! Everything about his playing is just wonderful, perfect note and the most important is the emotional just like the blues players do. I wonder if I could play like him. He is my influence, his playing is always on my mind!! |

I love the energy in this video. It shows the band having a great time on stage, I noticed this the most during White Room and Sunshine of your love where the band was having a grand old time. Overall I love the songs but Layla would have been great with a orchestra backing it up. I know Layla is pretty standard concert wise, but it would have been great. I love blues night and I think all of us would anyway. So buy it without even a second thought. Oh yeah and it is almost as good as unplugged! |
