I don't like the version on his Chronicles album, it's just not his style, or at least it isn't the style he should do, but I love the acoustic version on "The Story of Us", he has always been great with anything acoustic. |

The first time I listened this single, I hated it! But when I re-thought about it (to tell you the truth, a close friend of mine said that she had never heard "guitar dance music". She said it was cool.) I realised that Eric is so great that his music can easily be adapted to many music styles (Polifacetic {not sure about spelling, sorry}, and useful in order to introduce to "dance music lovers" a little taste of good blues music with a backing rhythm of dance). The lyrics are fine, the music is better. Remember that adaptability and various playing style property of EC, remark that he played: -Reggae (Knocking On Heaven's Door). and now These are just some examples, but... one remarkable thing is, if you haven't noticed, there is always a good taste of blues in his technique. Remember that EC couldn't fool us with his group "Derek and the Dominoes". His playing skills betrayed his hidden identity. |

When I first heard this song, I heard it on the Chronicles album. At first I was unsure of this as I am not a dance fan. But the more I listened to it, the more I liked it, I realized this wasn't a standard dance tune. EC's voice is great and the acoustic fills he does are great too. I prefer the soundtrack version, which is a non dance version, but both are great songs. |

This single has been released twice that I know of! I think that this
one is the best. The last version has 7 versions of "(I) Get
Lost". Personally that far too much for a single. |
