This is an excellent stereo soundboard recording (only a cut below 'official' live-album quality) of a very good concert. Eric plays with his customary brilliance on the blues numbers - especially 'Worried Life Blues' and 'Double Trouble' - and there are also impressive versions of concert standards such as 'I Shot the Sherriff' and 'Let It Rain.' Eric was obviously still riding the creative wave that rejuvenated him in the early 80's on this European tour! |
