No, the sound quality rating above is *not* a typo. 'SB6' is the highest rating, and this release shattered that barrier, earning a 'sb7', with performances to match all around. A perfect, incredible release. Absolutely essential to have. Hats off to Mid Valley!

I have to echo these sentiments...I have seen Eric from the first shows at the Fillmore, recording wheels of fire at Winterland...and on. This show and the one in Chicago are amazing sets. "One Chance", "River of Tears , "Old Love", and "I Shot the Sheriff"...This is an amazing find. I have had this for a couple of years and It remains a favourite...Also Chicago has a well mixed orchestra...take your pick.

Great album for a great concert. The sound is impeccable, the way I like it: Sounds live, but doesn't sound saturated or like a mass of instruments. It is very well mixed but doesn't sound too polished, like regular live albums. Raw but very elegant. Great playing from EC and the band, marvellous background vocals (Katie and Chyna). I love the opening track, My Father's Eyes. Pretty straight forward, in your face rock, with a lot of feeling and great singing.

Eric sounds like having a lot of fun, talks to the audience more than he regularly does. In a nutshell, feels like your there, in the concert, one of the best bootlegs I own.

Yup... great stuff and sound is better than 24 Nights!! My only disagreement comes with the version of "She's Gone"... the recent Yokohama track destroys this version!! No silly beefed up guitar pedals... just pure EC magic!!

First of all, what excellent quality! All instrument levels are well balanced and EC's guitar solos sear through! I have to say after listening to a lot of versions of She's Gone this has the best! I realize there is a lot of other versions out there, probably 100's!, but if there is a version that beats it, well its not a bad thing. It's amazing, including Bonnie Raitt on slide, thinking she is Jimi Hendrix! She really canes it during those climatic builds to both solos, on the second solo have your stereo set up on full blast,, its too good! Renditions of other songs are also very good and original, as always. Only reason doesn't get a 10, is the fact that the Layla is acoustic, I would love to hear an electric version with EC in this kind of form.

A definite must!
