A very listenable audience recording. Of note here, the outro solo of "Pretending" on the audio and video releases of "24 Nights" are from different shows. The outro solo on the CD release of "24 Nights" is from this performance. EC also gets in a blistering, and uncharacteristically frantic solo on "White Room", it's as if he comes up with a half dozen ideas about which way he wants to go with the solo and decides to do them all at once. He gets a bit out of control and then reins it in, to good effect. EC also quotes "Hideaway" in his solo on "Before You Accuse Me", which is a nice touch. Some diginoise at the very end of disc 2. |
