The first thing that gets you with this album is the standard of the artwork! What a great job! The other as good as this is "One More Car, One More Driver" for artwork. Now on to the songs, a great mix of stuff with very good sound quality on all considering they are essentially rehearsals. I mainly bought this for "Just Like A Prisoner" a criminally under used song of Eric's. I was also impressed with the Blues section on Disc 2 from tracks 4 - 7. It was nice to hear "Key To the Highway" and "Tulsa Time" for the first time in ages. Special mention goes to "Never Make You Cry" a remixed special of sorts, all in all a great set that really highlights the '85 tour because you get some of the stuff here that you weren't luck enough to get on the tour itself. |

Rehearsals for the 1985 tour, including an all too rare performance of "Just Like a Prisoner". And to answer the question on everyone's mind (including mine), here's the comment from a website visitor: "'Generalprobe' means the very last rehearsal before a tour or a concert starts. The very last chance to play and check the full program before you go out to the public.". |
